Mexico’s star players, goalie Jorge Campos and forward Luis Garcia, made similar exits from Giants Stadium on Tuesday, although a couple of hours apart.
Garcia was hit with his second yellow card, and expulsion from the game, in the 58th minute against Bulgaria. He left the field while being escorted part way by his teammate Campos, who had his arm around Garcia’s shoulder and some encouraging words.
