Richard Gishi, a coach of the Huntington Beach SCATS gymnastics club, has been hired as a part-time women’s gymnastics coach at Cal State Fullerton.

Gishi, a graduate of Westminster High, competed in gymnastics at UCLA before taking the position at SCATS. “We’re happy to have him as our restricted-earnings coach,” Titan Coach Lynn Rogers said. “He needed to finish up some work for his college degree, and this will allow him to do that at the same time.”
