Residents here were rattled Sunday by two more aftershocks of the 1992 Landers earthquake, but there were no reports of damage or injuries.

A magnitude 4.0 quake, which struck at 8:10 a.m., was centered 13 miles southeast of Yucca Valley, said seismologist Will Huston of Caltech. The second aftershock struck at the same location at 4:43 p.m. and had a magnitude of 3.6, Caltech reported.

Neither the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department nor the Palm Springs Police Department had reports of damage or injuries.
