OUTLOOK
The Wolverines open their first varsity campaign as a member of the Pacific Coast League, but the second-year school isn’t opening with a clean slate. They actually played one varsity game last year, a 42-0 loss to Calvary Chapel. It could be tough again--there are only six seniors on the team that went 5-5 against junior varsity competition in 1993. There is some hope for the future, though, because the freshmen were 8-1.
SCHEDULE
September 9 vs. Dana Hills; 16 vs. Rancho Alamitos at Bolsa Grande HS; 23 vs. La Quinta at Garden Grove HS; 29 vs. Santiago at Garden Grove HS.
October 7 vs. Los Amigos; 14 vs. Laguna Hills at Mission Viejo HS; 21 vs. Costa Mesa; 28 vs. Laguna Beach.
November 4 vs. Estancia at Orange Coast College; 11 vs. University at Irvine HS.
