PRO FOOTBALL DAILY REPORT : RAMS
The Rams will wear nostalgia jerseys for Sunday’s game against the San Francisco 49ers, but center Bern Brostek will wear something new under his uniform--spandex shorts.
The Rams ordered Brostek to change shorts this week after quarterback Chris Miller complained that perspiration from Brostek’s legs made the ball slippery in Sunday’s 31-13 loss at Atlanta. Miller threw three interceptions.

San Francisco worked out defensive end Charles Mann but didn’t sign him. Even if the 49ers do sign him in the next few days, Coach George Seifert doesn’t anticipate Mann playing Sunday.
The 49ers are searching for a veteran defensive end to replace an injured Richard Dent (knee). Second-year player Troy Wilson and third-year player Mark Thomas will play in place of Dent.

Linebacker Henry Rolling missed practice with a stomach virus. . . . The Rams have a two-game home winning streak but haven’t beaten the 49ers in Anaheim Stadium since Sept. 14, 1986, when they won, 16-13.
