Share

One of three men who fled to a Long Beach house after allegedly robbing a bank Friday surrendered before a SWAT team stormed the home and began a room-by-room search for the other suspects, police said.

The other suspects were not in the house at 19th Street and Myrtle Avenue, said Long Beach Detective Jim Olds.

The unidentified man who surrendered came out of the home shortly after 4 p.m., just over four hours after the holdup at the Sanwa Bank branch in the 2200 block of Pacific Avenue.
