Voter Registration Ends Oct. 11

The deadline for registering to vote in the Nov. 8 general election is Oct. 11. To be eligible to vote, individuals must be U.S. citizens and at least 18 years of age by Election Day. Those wishing to register can do so in person at the headquarters of the Registrar-Recorder/County Clerk at 12400 Imperial Highway in Norwalk. They can also request registration-by-mail forms at various locations, including county buildings, city halls, post offices and libraries, or by telephoning the county’s election information system at (310) 462-2748. The information system is open 24 hours a day, seven days a week. The postage-paid forms are mailed within a day after the request is received.
