At the Golden State Athletic Conference cross-country championships:
SCC men third--Southern California College, with 80 points, was led by Jason Schaefer’s 11th-place finish. Azusa Pacific won the meet with 24 points. Jon Bischop was 12th for SCC. Concordia finished sixth with 166 points.
SCC’s women were fifth, led by Caren Anderson’s 14th-place finish. They finished with 106 points. Azusa Pacific won with 34 points. Concordia was sixth, with 135 points.
In nonconference women’s soccer:
UC Irvine 6, Sacramento State 0--Tracie Manz scored three goals, breaking the Anteaters’ single-season goal record with 12.
