PREP ROUNDUP : Tustin Finishes Strong to Advance
After splitting the first two games, 15-8, 11-15, Tustin poured it on to pound visiting Elsinore and win the next two games and the match, 15-6, 15-3, Wednesday in a Southern Section Division IV first-round girls’ volleyball playoff match.
In Division II first-round girls’ volleyball playoffs:
La Habra 3, Crescenta Valley 0--Kathryn Coates had 10 kills to lead the Highlanders in their 15-5, 15-8, 15-6 victory. Teammate Cameron Shambeck added nine kills. La Habra will next face the winner of today’s Foothill-Troy match.
