Diane Lewis of Long Beach Millikan has been named interim softball coach at OCC for the 1995 season.

She succeeds Nick Trani, who moved to a similar position at Saddleback College. A permanent coach will be named in the spring, and Lewis said she plans to apply for the position. As a pitcher, Lewis led Millikan to the Southern Section 3-A championship in 1983. Trani was Millikan’s coach at the time.
