OUTLOOK
The 12-time defending league champions enter the season with a new coach for the third consecutive season. Every time the Ladycats lose a handful of seniors, a letdown is expected. And every time a letdown is expected, the Ladycats respond. The team enters the season riding a 54-game winning streak, one short of the team record set from 1989-91. Another undefeated season would break the Southern Section record of 84 in a row by Riverside Poly from 1978-82. Sink is no stranger to winning. He won 11 league and two state titles in 14 years at Lathrop High in Fairbanks, Alaska. Moulin, who averaged nine points last season, earned all-league and all-CIF honors. Miller, also an all-league and all-CIF selection, averaged 11 points. Helping fill the void left by Nicole Erickson, Colleen Hudson and Co. is Saari, who will run the offense, Metz and Zachry. Bradley averaged 18.5 points as a freshman on the junior varsity. Another league title should be a lock. A fifth state title, maybe not.
