OUTLOOK

Aliso Niguel played only seven games against varsity teams last season--defeating Marina and Calvary Chapel and losing the rest--but Goldstone believes the Wolverines will be able do well immediately in the league. Aliso Niguel played each team, except Estancia, in the summer and defeated them all. “Summer’s summer, but we know we can compete with these guys,” Goldstone said. “We match up pretty well in the league. I think this is a good place for us to start out.” Bragassa, the Wolverines’ best player, is a former point guard who can drive to the basket with either hand. He’s also a good outside shooter and a strong defender. Orlando Campbell, a sophomore who might start at the point, and his older brother, Will, provide quickness. Mulkay and Valenti will battle for playing time at off-guard, Langan and Daniel at small forward and Schafer is the center.
