Share

Three Seattle Seahawk players were injured, one critically, Thursday night in Kirkland, Wash., when their vehicle hit a utility pole, authorities said.

Running back Chris Warren, the fourth-leading rusher in the NFL with 1,096 yards, and rookie running back Lamar Smith were two of the players, but neither was in critical condition, ESPN reported. The third player was not identified. A police spokeswoman in Kirkland reported that Warren was the driver of the car and that Warren was being charged with vehicular assault.

The players were taken to Overlake Medical Center in Bellevue. The crash knocked out electricity to 4,500 customers for an hour, the Journal-American reported.
