Dahl and Christine Heims, along with Foltz, were selected to the all-tournament team for Golden West (25-2).

The Rustlers’ two losses this season came to Cerritos in a tournament in October.

Cerritos (22-2) lost twice to Golden West, both times in the State tournament.

“We put it together as a team for a weekend,” Gasparian said. “You could tell Tuesday against Mt. San Antonio (in a playoff game) that we were starting to click.”

In the College of the Sequoias women’s basketball tournament:

Golden West 75, Fullerton 52--Deana Itow and Julie Murdent each scored 19 points and April Van Sweden added nine to lead Golden West (9-3) to the consolation title. Lupe Janos and Vanessa Trujillo each scored 13 points for Fullerton (6-4).
