Fountain Valley 2, San Clemente 1--Joey Vasquez tied the score, 1-1, at the 30-minute mark, and put the Barons ahead for good five minutes later with his fifth goal of the tournament. No. 2 Fountain Valley (10-2) took third place with the victory.

Newport Harbor 2, Villa Park 1--Justin Kerr scored twice for the Sailors (10-3) in the ninth-place game. Todd McIllwain assisted on the second goal. Phillip Choi scored a goal and Greg Granito had four saves for Villa Park (6-4-3).

In the Orange tournament:

Saddleback 1, Riverside North 0--Ramon Alvardo scored in the second half to advance No. 7 Saddleback into the championship game at 7 tonight against Santa Margarita at Chapman.

Santa Margarita 3, Orange 1 (OT)--Seth George tied the score with 10 minutes remaining and Tim Padayachee scored the game-winner in overtime to lift No. 1 Santa Margarita (12-0-1) into today’s tournament championship game. Alex Garcia had the goal for Orange (5-5-2).

Estancia 2, Katella 1--Miguel Huerta’s second-half goal was the difference for Estancia (5-2-2), which plays for the consolation championship today.

Los Alamitos 2, La Habra 0--No. 4 Los Alamitos (8-1-3) posted its eighth shutout of the season to advance to today’s fifth-place game.
