Roosevelt 56, Locke 53 (OT)--Roosevelt rallied from a 47-43 deficit with 40 seconds left in regulation of the Southeastern Conference game Wednesday at home.

Zenobia Tyson Hunt scored to cut the deficit to two points and Edna Alvarez drove the length of the court to score on a layup with eight seconds remaining to tie the score, 47-47, and send the game into overtime.

Hunt had 21 points, four coming in overtime, and 12 rebounds and Alvarez scored 16 for Roosevelt. Dawn Pellerin grabbed 15 rebounds and Jennifer Brambila also contributed five assists.

Record: Roosevelt 7-0

Jefferson 54, Jordan 27--Jackie Leverett led the visiting Democrats to the Southeastern Conference victory on Wednesday with 16 points, 13 assists, five steals, three blocks and eight rebounds.

Monique Edwards, who had 11 rebounds, and Marshay Wallace scored 11 each and Lavonde Thompson grabbed 12 rebounds for Jefferson.

Elea A’giza had a game-high 19 points for Jordan.

Garfield 65, Huntington Park 20--Ten Garfield players scored in the Southeastern Conference victory Wednesday.

Angela Cardenas and Korina Chavez had 14 and 13 points each while Miriam Gonzalez added six assists and four steals for the visiting Bulldogs.

Record: Garfield 8-2

Marshall 51, Lincoln 35--Guards Korey Kobata and Jamie Kogan paced the visiting Barristers to the Northern Conference victory Wednesday.

Kobata scored 13 points, making 11 of 12 free throws, and had four assists. Kogan scored 14 points and added five rebounds and four assists.

Diane Quinones had a game-high 16 points for Lincoln.

Belmont 61, Hollywood 38--Zakiyyah Johnson had 26 points and 16 rebounds and Blanca Monsivais added 15 points and 12 rebounds for host Belmont in the Northern Conference game Wednesday.

Record: Belmont 6-4
