Edison 3, Huntington Beach 1--Todd Marcus scored two goals and Jon Ginnaty added one to lead No. 8 Edison (10-3-4, 3-1). Jeff Neilan scored for Huntington Beach (5-9-2, 0-3).

In the Century League:

El Modena 1, Villa Park 0--In his first varsity game, junior Ryan Murrietta scored with one second left to play off an assist from Link Elliott. Brian Frazier earned his sixth shutout of the season for Vanguards (9-2-1, 3-0).

Foothill 1, Santa Ana Valley 1--Luis Mejia scored for Santa Ana Valley (0-2-1 in league). Adam Campbell scored for Foothill (4-5-4, 0-2-1).

Orange 3, Canyon 0--Victor Diaz scored two goals for Orange (10-5-2, 4-0). Goalie Aldo Zuniga, with four saves, recorded his third shutout of the season.

In the Empire League:

Cypress 5, Century 0--Bryan Huskey scored three goals and Greg Cleave had two for No. 9 Cypress (11-3-3, 1-1-1).

Katella 1, El Dorado 1--Darren Zinser scored the first unassisted goal for Katella (4-7-5, 1-0-2) five minutes into the second half. El Dorado’s Curtis Fullmer tied the score 20 minutes later. El Dorado is 9-3-2, 2-0-1.

In the Freeway League:

La Habra 2, Troy 1--Mark Lamb and Jeff Ruesga each scored a goal to lead visiting Troy (6-3-2, 2-1). Jeff Ahlberg scored for Troy (1-3 in league).

Sunny Hills 4, Fullerton 0--Nick Walton scored two goals and Davis Lee and Adam Beller each added one to lead No. 10 Sunny Hills (12-3-1, 3-0-1).

In the Garden Grove League:

Pacifica 6, La Quinta 2--Trevor Stivers and Graig Chow each scored two goals for Pacifica (8-2, 4-0). Rick Matlock of La Quinta (2-7, 2-3) saved 25 of Pacifica’s 32 shots on goal.

In the Golden West League:

Saddleback 4, Westminster 0--Carlos Vizcaino scored the first goal for No. 3 Saddleback (9-3-4, 4-0-1).

Servite 1, Santa Ana 0--Michael Ugalde scored an unassisted goal in the first half for host Servite (3-9, 2-1). Goalie Jack Lambert had seven saves. Santa Ana is (6-5-1, 2-1).

Tustin 3, Ocean View 0--Adam Thomasson, Evan Marmol and Reggie Curry each scored a goal for Tustin (6-5-2, 2-1).

In the Olympic League:

Orange Lutheran 1, Capistrano Valley Christian 1--Casey Turner scored for host Capistrano Valley Christian (4-7-1, 0-2-1). Eric VanDeZilver had a goal for Orange Lutheran (0-1-2 in league).

In the Orange League:

Anaheim 3, Savanna 2--Juan Lopez, who already had a goal, scored the winner with 15 minutes left to play. Goalie Travis Pena saved the Colonist victory after he blocked a Savanna penalty kick with about five minutes to go.

Brea Olinda 2, Western 1--Tim Albrecht scored two goals for the visiting Wildcats (9-3-4, 3-0-1).

Valencia 5, Magnolia 1--Leonel Soto scored two goals and assisted on another for host Valencia (6-5-3, 2-0-2).

In the Sea View League:

Irvine 3, Corona del Mar 1--Kevin McLain, Brian Teter and Cory McCauley each scored and Brian Dedeaux had eight saves for host Irvine (5-6-1, 2-2).

Santa Margarita 4, Newport Harbor 0--Chon Kantkovit scored twice and Seth George assisted on two goals as No. 1 Santa Margarita (16-0-2, 3-0-1) remained undefeated. Steve Kleha recorded eight saves in the loss for Newport Harbor (14-5, 1-2).

Woodbridge 2, El Toro 0--Michael Jacobs scored the first goal and later assisted teammate Gustuv Gratzer on the second score for Woodbridge (11-5-1, 3-0-1).

In the South Coast League:

Capistrano Valley 1, Dana Hills 1--Trevor Layne scored one goal and Andy Matlaf recorded three saves for visiting Capistrano Valley (10-3-4, 2-0-2). Juan Almejo scored a goal for Dana Hills (7-7-2, 1-2-1).
