Escobedo, from Walnut High, was an All-American and All-Orange Empire Conference player for Fullerton in 1993. She sat out last season but has returned this season and is showing no signs of rustiness. Last weekend, she had eight hits in 12 at-bats in four games as Fullerton finished fourth in the Long Beach tournament. She also scored two runs and drove in two more with a double in a 6-1 victory over Bakersfield.
