Southern Utah Tops Northridge

Sean Allen scored 22 points, 14 in the second half, to lead a surge that helped Southern Utah overcome a 17-point deficit and defeat Cal State Northridge, 75-72, to clinch at least a share of the American West Conference championship before 699 at Northridge.

Southern Utah is 13-10, 4-0 in conference. Northridge (7-17, 4-2) was without Peter Micelli, its senior captain, who didn’t show up for the game after attending his sister’s afternoon wedding.
