An Equestrian Option

After reading the Feb. 3 article, “Hurdles Abound in Quest for Equestrian Excellence,” we both felt compelled to set the record straight. Most equestrian facilities, including Foxfield, offer their clients the option to lease a horse and compete at local levels. This option greatly reduces the “out of pocket” expense to learn about and show horses.

The owners and staff at Foxfield are the most dedicated and hard-working people we know. They spend long hours at the barn making it a place where the young and not-so-young, the rich and not-so-rich, can enjoy the world of horses.
