Glendale : Candidates Forum Scheduled at Library

The candidates for Glendale City Council will face off and answer questions from the public at a forum tonight sponsored by the League of Women Voters of Glendale/Burbank.
The forum, scheduled from 7 to 9 p.m. at the Glendale Central Library, 222 E. Harvard St., will include questions by a panel of political observers, followed by audience questions.
All five candidates competing for two open council seats in the April 4 election are expected. The council candidates are incumbents Eileen Givens and Larry Zarian, who are finishing their first and third council terms, respectively; John Beach, a semi-retired computer programmer; David E. Wallis, retired engineer, and David Weaver, engineer and homeowners association activist.
