COLLEGE BASEBALL ROUNDUP : Seidel Leads Southern California College to Victory

Ryan Seidel had a double, a home run and drove in two runs as Southern California College beat Concordia, 6-2, in a Golden State Athletic Conference baseball game at Concordia.
Jeff Beckley pitched an eight-hitter for the victory for SCC (7-13, 3-4 in conference).
In nonconference baseball:
Pepperdine 6, Long Beach State 4--Host Pepperdine (8-10) broke a 4-4 tie with runs in the seventh and eighth innings to stop a four-game losing streak.
Jason Minici had a double and two RBIs for Long Beach (11-9-1), ranked 24th in the nation by Baseball America. Ryan Christensen had an RBI single in the eighth to give Pepperdine a 5-4 lead in the eighth. Kyle Wilson (5-1) was the loser.
