SEASON AT A GLANCE: Colleran’s effectiveness is one reason why the Indians are off to a 9-0 start. With an 8-0 record and a save, Colleran has figured in every victory. She has 66 strikeouts in 56 1/3 innings, an 0.19 earned-run average and has held batters to a .130 average. She has attracted interest from Utah, UC Santa Barbara, San Jose State and Michigan.
WEEK AT A GLANCE: Colleran led Hart to championships in two tournaments last week (Hoover and Hart) and was chosen most valuable player in the Hart tournament. She was 5-0 with two shutouts and gave up one earned run in 36 innings.
