Brea Olinda’s Metz Selects CS Los Angeles

Dawn Metz of Brea Olinda has accepted a full scholarship to play basketball at Cal State Los Angeles, her mother, Carol Metz, said Friday.

Metz, a 6-foot-1 center, was a second-team Times all-county selection and was chosen to the Orange League first team.

She averaged 11.6 points and 8.3 rebounds this past season, helping the Ladycats to a Southern Section Division II-A title.
