Fortune Back on Irvine Fight Card
Australian heavyweight Justin Fortune will headline the Irvine Marriott’s boxing card for the second consecutive month when he faces Jimmy Mullen of Simi Valley in an eight-round bout tonight.
Fortune (10-2-1, six knockouts) is coming off a first-round knockout of Craig Brinson. Mullen is 6-2-1 with two knockouts.
The best undercard bout figures to be a six-rounder between Seattle junior lightweight John John Palaki (12-1, four knockouts) and Los Angeles’ Paul Mayorquin (6-0-1, three knockouts).
The first fight begins at 7:30 p.m.
