THOUSAND OAKS : Joint Airport Use Group Sets Meeting
The group that will examine a proposal to develop a joint military and civilian airport at the Point Mugu Navy base will hold its first meeting tonight in Thousand Oaks.
Members of the Point Mugu Airport Joint Use Joint Powers Authority will meet at 7 p.m. at Thousand Oaks City Hall.
The joint powers authority comprises representatives from the county and the cities of Oxnard, Thousand Oaks, Port Hueneme and Ventura. Agenda items include a review of joint powers authority agreements, setting up staffing and operating procedures and setting a schedule of meetings.
