Splash Beats Mexico, 6-4
The Splash remained undefeated on the road with a 6-4 victory over the Mexico Toros Sunday in Mexico City.
The victory also moved the Splash (5-2) into sole possession of first place in the Southern Division of the Continental Indoor Soccer League.
The score was tied, 2-2, at the half, but Dale Ervine and Doug Neely scored in the third quarter to give the Splash a 4-2 lead over Mexico (5-4). The Splash is 4-0 on the road.
Sean Bowers and Ervine added goals in the fourth quarter. It was Bowers’ fourth goal in the last three games.
