Next Week, We’ll Add Yet Another Stadium
Bob Nightengale was indeed caught in an error claiming that only three major league stadiums in existence since 1954, the last time Cleveland made a postseason appearance, were still in use. Bruce Simonson [Viewpoint, July 29] listed Yankee Stadium, Fenway Park, Tiger Stadium and Wrigley Field in answer to the error.
They both failed to cite Milwaukee County Stadium, current home of the Brewers and home of the Bos-Mil-Anta Braves in 1954.
