All-star center fielder Ken Griffey Jr. is scheduled to join the Seattle Mariners Tuesday in Minnesota.
Griffey went 0 for 3 Sunday during a rehabilitation assignment for triple-A Tacoma. He struck out and grounded out twice before leaving the game in the sixth inning.
Griffey began regular batting practice with the Mariners last Monday and continued workouts this weekend at Tacoma. He will be re-evaluated today, but it is not known if he will return to the lineup Tuesday.
Griffey suffered a broken left wrist when he crashed into the wall in right-center field making a spectacular catch in a May 26 game.
