The meeting will be at 7:30 p.m. in the cafeteria of the Pacific Lodge Boy’s Home, 4900 Serrania Ave., Woodland Hills.

Guest speaker will be LAPD Senior Lead Officer Steve Kegley and Capt. Valentino P. Paniccia, both of the West Valley Division.

“If you are not aware of prevention, then you may find the disease has gotten to you,” Gordon Murley, president of the Woodland Hills Homeowners Organization, said in a letter to members. He emphasized to members the need for stronger crime prevention efforts.

The organization tracks crime on a month-to-month basis and sends the information to members. In August, according to the group, Woodland Hills had 19 robberies, 32 burglaries and 37 vehicles stolen.
