Valencia 43, Burbank 26--Quarterback Kenny Taylor ran for three touchdowns and caught a pass for a fourth score as the Vikings (1-5) picked up the first varsity victory school history in a nonleague game at Canyon High.
Taylor, who rushed for 137 yards, caught a touchdown pass from Donavan Calhoun on a trick play and scored on runs of 67, one and 11 yards.
Calhoun also rushed for 137 yards, including touchdown runs of 12 and 21 yards.
Burbank (0-6) scored two touchdowns in the final five minutes to get within 36-26 before Taylor’s long run.
Juni Williams gained 140 yards in eight carries and Errol Bowen added 110 yards in 20 carries for the Bulldogs.
