SPECIAL TO THE TIMES

Montclair Prep won its 19th consecutive game as quarterback Robert Neumann threw two touchdown passes and ran for another in leading the Mounties to a 27-19 victory Friday night over Moorpark in a Southern Section Division IX quarterfinal at Moorpark High.

Montclair Prep (11-0) will face Atascadero (12-0) in the semifinals next week.

Neumann, whose only two completions in five attempts were for touchdowns, found Scott Stark from 18 yards in the second quarter and Rahshawn Jones from 44 yards away in the fourth quarter.

Neumann’s touchdown run came from one yard in the second quarter, one play after a Keith Johnson 39-yard interception return put the Mounties at the Moorpark one.
