BASKETBALL ROUNDUP : Crescenta Valley Gets a Free Shot at Title and Willis Makes It

Jake Willis sank two free throws with 18 seconds left to give Crescenta Valley High a 52-50 victory over Bellflower on Friday night in the championship game of the Crescenta Valley tournament.
The Falcons (8-1) rallied from a pair of 17-point deficits in the first half led by forward Michael Greco, most valuable player of the tournament, who scored 19 points, and forward Nathan Sinning, who made all four of his three-point shots and scored 18.
Willis broke a 45-45 tie with a free throw with 2:25 left in the fourth quarter to give the Falcons their first lead.
