Tustin Woman, 34, Killed in Two-Car Crash at Intersection

A 34-year-old Tustin woman was killed when her car was hit broadside by another late Wednesday, police said.

Lori Curler was pronounced dead about 10:15 p.m. at the crash scene at State College Boulevard and Lincoln Avenue.

Police officers who witnessed the crash said Anthony Douglas Bithell, 31, of Orange, was headed south on State College Boulevard when his car struck that of Curler, who was traveling east on Lincoln Avenue.

Both vehicles spun and struck another vehicle, driven by an 18-year-old Anaheim woman. She was not injured, police said.

Bithell was knocked unconscious by the impact and was taken to UCI Medical Center in Orange by paramedics. A hospital spokeswoman said Bithell suffered cuts and bruises and was listed in good condition.

The collision is still under investigation. Anyone with information is encouraged to call Investigators Vince Delgado or Rick Alexander of the Anaheim Police Department traffic division at (714) 254-1861.
