With one wild-card spot available in each conference, here’s how confusing the situation is on the final weekend: Only the Atlanta Falcons control their own destiny--and they have to defeat San Francisco. Oakland needs a victory over Denver and a Seattle loss to Kansas City. The complete picture:

* Miami--Can clinch a playoff spot with a victory and an Oakland loss or tie or a Seattle victory. Can also clinch with an Oakland loss and a Seattle loss.

* Oakland--Can clinch a playoff spot with a victory and a loss by Seattle.

* Seattle--Can clinch playoff spot with a victory and a Miami loss or tie.
