PRO FOOTBALL / DAILY REPORT : Cowboys May Be Able to Use Haley
The Cowboys were given an emotional lift Monday--as if they really needed it--when defensive end Charles Haley was pronounced fit to practice and will be listed as at least “questionable” for Sunday’s NFC championship game with the Green Bay Packers.
Haley, who underwent back surgery earlier this year, was given the OK during a checkup in Los Angeles with back specialist Dr. Robert Watkins.

The buzz around Dallas on Monday was that Deion Sanders finally began returning punts full-time for the Cowboys on Sunday because of reasons other than simply, his legs felt good.
The word is that owner Jerry Jones, who has more on the line in their Super Bowl quest than anyone, suggested to the coaches that Deion be given the chance.
The coaches, wishing to stay employed, complied.
Can you blame either one?
