M.K. Turk resigned as coach at Southern Mississippi after 20 seasons. Turk, 53, compiled a 300-257 record, including this year’s 12-15 overall record and 6-8 mark in Conference USA. “I just think it seems to be the time,” said Turk. “My decision has nothing to do with this past season although obviously I’d wish we could have done better.”
