Funnier Than Fiction

My favorite style of humor used to be gross exaggeration, but after reading Lynda Barry’s cartoon (“My Big Day in L.A.,” Feb. 25), I realize that nothing is funnier than the absolute truth. Sadly, I doubt that any of her Hollywood “cartoon” characters will recognize themselves.

I hope that Lynda eventually finds a producer she can trust--or that she decides to produce her own film project. She has a large following, and many of us in the animation industry would love to see her material on the big screen.
