Syracuse sophomore Burgan played 39 minutes and finished with 19 points and eight rebounds against Kentucky to earn a spot on the all-Final Four team.

With Kentucky determined to slow Syracuse point guard Lazarus Sims, Burgan was forced to handle the ball against the Wildcats’ press.

“Their press definitely wears you down, but I think our team did a good job of helping each other,” said Burgan, who made three of five three-point attempts. “I knew that I was going to have to help out more and help the team.”
