Star Athletes to Speak at High School Event
Runners, hurdlers and other world-class athletes will attend a “Night of Greatness” at Southern California Christian High School tonight at 6:30 to discuss their careers and urge students to stay off drugs.
The public is invited to meet the athletes and browse through informational booths set up by universities and colleges.
Some of the athletes expected to attend are Christian Okoye, former running back for the Kansas City Chiefs; long jumper Larry Myricks; hurdler Doris Williams; and Olympic silver medalist and track star Osmond Ezinwa.
Tickets are $7 at the school, at 8612 Orange Olive Road.
