Dunkin’ Donuts Starts Selling Store-Baked Bagels: The world’s largest chain of coffee and doughnut shops began selling the bagels in several Northeast cities, starting a national roll-out that is expected to reach 2,500 stores next year. For several years, the chain has sold bagels that had been frozen before reaching store shelves. The Randolph, Mass.-based company projected that sales of bagels will reach $150 million next year. Last year, Dunkin’ Donuts rang up $1.4 billion in sales in its 4,100 locations in the United States and abroad.
