Johnson, Flores Lead Guards Past Moorpark, 51-47

Guard Jaclyn Johnson had 20 points and 14 rebounds, and Cheryl Flores added 12 points to lead the Bell-Jeff High girls’ basketball team to a 51-47 victory over Moorpark in the second round of the Bell-Jeff summer tournament.

Ayala (Chino) 50, Alemany 48--Ligaya Dozier scored 24 points for Ayala, which withstood a 21-6 fourth quarter by the Indians. Katie Beckler scored 16 points for Alemany.

Crescenta Valley 49, North Hollywood 31--Tara Gregory scored 10 points for Crescenta Valley.

Oxnard 40, Agoura 32--Danya Walker scored 16 points for Oxnard.
