Schwartz Wins Speedway Event

Bobby Schwartz of Costa Mesa won the four-lap scratch main event in front of 4,709 in the weekly speedway motorcycle program Friday night at the Orange County Fairgrounds.

Steve Lucero of Riverside was second, Brad Oxley of San Juan Capistrano third and Andy Northrup of Ontario fourth.

Jason Chism of Westminster won the eight-lap handicap main event. Lucero was second, Schwartz was third and Oxley was fourth.
