Bears Hand Johnson First Loss as Dolphin
Kevin Butler kicked a 22-yard field goal on the final play as the Chicago Bears beat Miami, 24-21, in an exhibition game, handing Jimmy Johnson his first loss as Dolphins coach.
Bryan Cox, the temperamental Bears linebacker who spent his first five seasons in Miami, faced his former team without incident.
The sloppy game, featuring 22 penalties, was the second exhibition meeting between Johnson and Bear Coach Dave Wannstedt, his good friend and former assistant. Wannstedt is now 2-0 against Johnson.
