Flintridge Prep 19, Marshall 7--Royal Forcell rushed for 117 yards and two touchdowns in 21 carries as the Rebels (1-1) registered their first-ever 11-man football victory in a nonleague game at Marshall.
Flintridge Prep is a member of the Prep League, which made the switch from eight-to 11-man this season.
Forcell ran for two five-yard touchdowns in the second half. Matt Moran added 76 yards in 13 carries.
Adam Ross completed eight of 17 passes for 90 yards for Flintridge, and Peter Twist caught six passes for 62 yards.
After stopping Marshall on fourth down midway through the second quarter, the Rebels marched 81 yards in 11 plays, scoring on a 19-yard pass play from Ross to Matt Linder that tied the score, 7-7.
