Five county high schools have boys’ and girls’ cross-country teams ranked in the top 10 in their divisions in this week’s CIF rankings.

Corona del Mar leads the way, with its teams each ranked No. 2 in Division IV. Orange Lutheran’s teams achieved the same rankings in Division V.

In Division III, the El Modena girls are ranked No. 3 and the boys No. 5, and Newport Harbor’s girls are ranked No. 7 and its boys No. 9.

The Santa Margarita boys’ team is ranked No. 6 in Division II and the girls’ team is No. 8.

The only county team ranked No. 1 in its division is the Costa Mesa boys’ team in Division IV.
