A magnitude 3.7 aftershock of Wednesday’s 4.1 earthquake northwest of Ojai occurred at 5:48 a.m. Friday, the U.S. Geological Survey reported.
The latest temblor followed a magnitude 3.7 aftershock that rattled the city about 10:45 p.m. Thursday.
The strong aftershocks indicate that a series of mild quakes could continue for a time in the area near the Santa Ynez fault, scientists said.
