Several local groups will share $68,000 from the city after officials decide how to divide the funds later this month.

The city has earmarked the money for community grants to seven organizations chosen to receive it.

The groups--La Habra Arts Assn., Sonora High School, La Habra High School, La Habra-Brea Boys & Girls Club, Friends of the Library, La Habra Depot Theater and the La Habra Chamber of Commerce--submitted proposals for how they would use the money.
