Pacers’ Workman Is Lost for Season

Doctors confirmed that Indiana Pacer guard Haywoode Workman tore the anterior cruciate ligament in his left knee in Saturday night’s 103-100 overtime victory over the Washington Bullets. The injury is expected to sideline him for the rest of the season.
With Workman out, Travis Best probably will get his starting point guard job back. Jalen Rose and Jerome Allen will be the backups.
