Buena 36, Hueneme 0--Quarterback Jeff Taladay gathered in a halfback pass by Eddie Loya and completed a 60-yard scoring play on Buena’s first effort from scrimmage.

Brady Phelps led Buena (5-5, 4-3) by rushing for 215 yards, including touchdown runs of 13 and 78 yards, in 16 carries. The victory was the 100th of Coach Rick Scott’s career.

Hueneme (1-9, 1-6) was held to 68 yards and never threatened to score.
